Wow, we are getting a ton of schedule info of late. This time round Futon Critic are reporting in their listings for Korra that we will get the two Wan Episodes, Beginnings Part 1 and Part 2 on October 18th as a one hour special.

They are reporting that it will start at 8pm Eastern, which makes sense as the second episode would then be at the usual time of 8:30pm Eastern as will start tomorrow.
They then mention that the next episode will not air until November 1st, which suggests we will get our mid season break after Beginnings. Just means we will have a 2 week wait for The Guide and not 1.
If all of this turn out to be true then it does suggest that Book 2 will finish by early December if they do a 2 part finale.
