K301 A Breath Of Fresh Air After the events of Harmonic Convergence, Avatar Korra discovers that her decision to leave the spirit portals open has unexpected consequences. Wild spirit vines have overgrown Republic City and Airbenders are suddenly popping up across the four nations. K302 Rebirth Of A Nation Korra, Tenzin and Team Avatar search for new Airbenders in an effort to recruit them and rebuild the Air Nation. Meanwhile, a band of sinister criminals are organizing to hunt down the Avatar themselves.So it looks to be a very exciting premiere, definitely looks like we will have a lot more going on early in Book 3 compared to Book 1 and 2. If you are in USA and have Nickelodeon please make sure to tune in to help with the ratings, we all know how sudden Book 3 is coming out, so every viewer will help. Site Coverage of Book 3 Last thing to mention in this post is what sort of content the site will be putting out as Book 3 airs. The two primary types of content will be news and review. As ever we will try to keep everyone up to date with all of the latest Avatar/Korra news from Book 3 itself to the comics and more, we will cover the news just like we always do. The big difference is with new episodes coming out there is a lot to discuss so we will have a lot of content coming out to discuss and review the episodes. -Forums, in our Korra forum section we will have discussion threads for every episode of Book 3 so any member on the site can join in on the discussion. -Podcast, our podcast, The Avatar Online Podcast will be releasing special Korra Roundtable Podcasts as we have for Book 1 and 2. In these podcasts myself and a few other members of the site will get together and discuss the latest Book 3 episode in-depth. It makes for the perfect aftershow experience as we go through each episode scene by scene discussing and analysing what happens. These podcasts will be released every Sunday, 2 days after a new episode airs. The only change is that because of the 3 episode premiere we will have 2 podcasts this week, one on Saturday for episode 1 and one on Sunday for episode 2. Episode 3 will be reviewed during Korra's break week next week. You will find these in the podcast category on the site and the news feed to the right. -Written Reviews, like I have done for both Book 1 and 2 I will be releasing written reviews for each episode of Book 3 Change. These will be released every Monday, 3 days after a new episode airs and you will find them in the Korra review category on the site as well as the news feed to the right. Like above the only difference is that I will have 3 episodes to review this week. -When Book 3 ends we will of course be bringing back a fan favourite event on the site, the season awards. We have done these for Book 1 and 2 of Korra and we will of course have Book 3 Change Awards. In these there is a large amount of awards ranging from best episode to most attractive male character and many more, you the readers will vote in all of these categories. I will count up all of the votes and we will reveal who has won each award in a special podcast episode. So there you have it there is the type of content you can expect from the site as Book 3 airs.
