Hey all,
Espcially with the advent of a new Avatar Series, I'm planning on starting an Avatar The Last Airbender community! but I need your help! What i'm looking for is Moderators, e.g. people who can help delete spam, keep the community active by encouraging active discussion, help keep things civil (trimming out flames, hate speech, racism, adult content etc..), as well as dispel false statements.
In addition to moderators we will of course need participation from all the awesome fans out there!
In order to be considered as a moderator you need to meet the following criteria:
- Be an Avatar The Last Airbender Fan
- Willing to contribute your own ideas and opinions about Avatar The Last Airbender at least once a week, preferably more.
- Look through and delete questionable, spammy, or duplicate content at least once a week, preferably more. (You will be granted moderator rights to do this)
Would also like (but not required)
- Have worked as a Forum Moderator previously
- Basic Computing skills.
What will you get for being a moderator
- I plan on featuring good content, ideas, and opinions from moderators on the front page of the website for high exposure
- A really good feeling for helping promote and grow Avatar The Last Airbender
- A fun experience
Planned Features - May not all be there right of the bat
Built on state of the art social community and technology which will integrate with Facebook, Twitter, and other Social Applications. (BuddyPress built by the Wordpress MU Team)
A Photo Album built specifically for Avatar The Last Airbender Fan Artists to showcase their work.
What do you want to see in an Avatar The Last Airbender Community?
What you wont get
- I currently can't pay, as the site is non-profit and typically only generates enough funds to cover hosting.
