Hello everyone, Airspeed Prime here with a pretty unique post. Today, with 1 week to go until Book 2 Spirits Premieres I will talk about the sort of content that the site will be putting out as well as how you can get involved as a member or non member of the site.

News
As always we will continue to post about all forms of Avatar/Korra news. While Book 2 is airing this will mainly be stuff like: Episode titles, episode descriptions, preview clips, preview images and any news relating to the airing of Book 2. We will also cover any comic news that comes out, which will focus on the build up to The Search Part 3 and probably more information about The Rift and maybe a possible The Search Hardcover.
Given that Mike and Bryan and the team are working on Book 3 and 4 we will also cover anything related to this.
In short we will cover the news as usual.
Podcast
I am sure all of you by now know about the Avatar Online Podcast, which is this sites Avatar/Korra podcast that I am the main host of. We have been going weekly since March 2012.
After this Sunday's episode (Episode 66) the main team will bring back the Korra Roundtable Podcasts, which are special podcasts we do when new episodes of Korra are out. Every Sunday we will get together for an episode completely focused on discussing and analysing each and every new episode of Korra Book 2 Spirits.
Since we have a 2 episode premiere next weekend we will be doing 2 Korra Roundtable Podcasts. 1 on Saturday the 14th of September to cover Rebel Spirit and 1 on Sunday the 15th of September to cover The Southern Lights. After that the Korra roundtables will be every Sunday after a new episode airs.
Any regular numbered episode fans need not worry, we will still have some regular episodes coming out while Korra is airing. They will become bi-weekly Saturday shows featuring myself (Airspeed Prime) and a selection of new hosts. The first show these new hosts will be on will be Saturday the 21st of September.

Book 2 Episode Reviews
As I did for Book 1 Air, I will be doing written reviews for each episode of Book 2 Spirits. I will do my best to get these reviews out on either the Monday or Tuesday after a new episode airs. This is so that I have time to compile together my final opinion, based on fan reaction, the podcast discussion and so on.
Each review will also feature a link to a youtube video where I will talk about my initial reactions to each episode. This is to show any differences in my opinion from my initial viewing with knowing no one elses opinion to my written review where I will have all of this in mind.
As a news post, this will give any of you who are not members of the site a chance to discuss the episodes in the comments.
The reviews will go up in this section of the site as well as the news feed. Check out my Book 1 reviews.

The forums
The sites 2 main sections are News and Forum. In the forum there is a specific The Legend Of Korra section.
In this section there will be an official discussion topic for every episode of Korra. So any member can talk about the episode and discuss it with the rest of the community. You can also make your own topics about Korra here.
The Korra section is likely to be the most popular section while the show is airing, but the other sections are interesting as well.
Introduce Yourself - Here is the section where you make a thread and introduce yourself to the rest of our friendly community.
Avatar World - This is basically the Avatar The Last Airbender Section combined with general discussion on the world of Avatar.
Avatar Books and Comics - As the title says, this is the section where all of the comic discussion happens as well as any talk of new books. Right now everyone is eagerly awaiting The Search Part 3 which I am sure will be a popular topic come October 30th.
Avatar Games - This is somewhat of trademark of the site. Since day 1 many of our most popular threads have been stuff like: Avatar Trivia, Avatar Picture Trivia, Avatar Hangman and so on. About a year ago we gave them their own section and it has been a big success. The Trivia's especially are special to this site as it is a real accomplishment to win one given the huge standard of questions and competitors. You can also win community points my placing well in them.
Podcast Section - Effectively another way to comment on new episodes, but you can also submit listener questions here or if you want to be on the podcast you can ask about that here too.
The Last Airbender Movie - TLA movie discussion. Mindless hate non allowed, so we actually have some interesting discussions here.
Avatar Roleplaying - Simple as, a section where you can join in or start your own roleplays set in the Avatar world
Avatar Cosplay - Post pictures of your latest Avatar cosplay project, talk about how to make certain items. Everything Cosplay.
Avatar Fan Art - Make a thread of your own and update it to post all of your latest avatar/korra Fan Art. There are also fan art contests from time to time.
Avatar Fan Fiction - Do you have a story you want to tell in the Avatar Universe. Make a thread and tell it here.
Sokka's Randomness - The off topic section. Talk about video games, anime, movies, music or whatever you want within the forum rules.
News and Feedback - More of a section for the Admin's to make big site anouncements, but for members this is where you post about any issues with the site and how it is working.
The Legend Of Korra Book 2 Awards
Getting a bit ahead of things here, but I do want to announce it now so that people have it in mind while Book 2 is airing.
When we did these awards for ATLA and Korra Book 1 they became something very special to the site, while they require a lot of time and organisation on my end, they are incredibly fun to do.
Anyone wondering what they are should take a look at this post about the Book 1 Air Awards.
Basically when Book 2 finishes up, I will put a post like the one linked above up with a list of categories like: Best Character Development, Best Location, Best Fight, Most emotional moment and so on. I will give a deadline of about 3 weeks and anyone who wants to can copy and paste the list of categories into the reply box and add in their answers. I will then count all the votes and on a special Awards Results Podcast we will reveal the winners. It was a huge success for Book 1 and we will be doing it again for Book 2 Spirits. So when you watch Book 2, keep these awards in mind.

Carrot Watch
Finally. We will have a feature called Carrot Watch. In short we will be scouring all of Book 2 in search of this Light Spirit
