Airspeed Prime here to tell you the results of the recent fan art contest that we ran on the site. Just over a month ago the contest went up with the aim to find a new piece of art to become the avatar image of the fan art forum, the theme was Aang and Korra as they appear in their respective shows, to show that the fan art section is about everything Avatar out so far. The prize was that the winning piece becomes the Fan Art sections group image and the artist would get 5000 community points.
The contest ended a week ago and we get 4 great submissions in, over the last week the staff of this site, moderators and admins voted for their favourite. The results are now in so in reverse order from 4th to 1st Place.
Note/ Contestants were allowed to submit 2 pieces if they wanted to.
This piece of art will now become the new group image for the Fan Art section. Each vote praised it for it suiting that role so well, bright, nice design and a unique style. A perfect image for the fan art section.[/caption]
