Every Christmas on the site we have many events from Trivias to opinion posts and more, especially now that the site has grown a lot it is quite difficult to keep track of everything during a busy holiday season. This post will introduce and explain all about the events on the site, where to join in and when they are happening. So I will just get straight into it.
Avatar Trivia Christmas Edition
Trivia is very much this sites trademark event, it is the most popular game on the site and especially the Christmas editions are always incredibly fun. So for the 3rd year in a row we are having a Christmas edition trivia. People who join in always learn something new about Avatar from the difficult and challenging questions. Nearly every month we organise an opinion post on an Avatar Topic where we give non staff members a chance to get their opinions out to a wider audience via a news post. It is time for the December edition to be organised. The topic is as follows - 2012 An Avatar Year In Review To explain further. What you do is that you write up an opinion piece of a few paragraphs based on that topic and send it to me (Airspeed Prime) via a Private Message, once the deadline hits I will put all of the opinions together into a news post and publish it. What I am looking for from opinions for the post is your thoughts on how 2012 has been in terms of Avatar. This year saw the release of Korra, The Promise Part 1, 2 and 3 and as always another year of the fandom interacting online. How was it for you, that is what your opinions should be about. Also include some thoughts on 2013 and what we have to expect. The newest edition to our event line up, Fan Art Contests. Then complete your piece of art based on the theme mentioned above and post it in the thread before the deadline of December 24th. You are allowed to post 2 submissions if you wish. The whole community will then vote on their favourites over the week following before the winners are announced via a results post.
